Clayton co-founded Storm Capital Partners in 2022 and was a Managing Director at the predecessor business which he joined in 2021.  Prior to Storm, Clayton helped build a financial technology business focused on streamlining private placement alternative investments for financial advisors.  Over the past twenty years, Clayton has led institutional and retail sales teams for industry-leading firms such as Ivy Asset Management, Man Investments, and Onex Credit Partners. Prior to that, Clayton was Head Trader covering global commodity, FX, and financial futures markets at Chesapeake Capital Corporation, a Commodity Trading Advisor seeded by Kidder Peabody.  Clayton began his career as an Associate at Kidder Peabody responsible for research due diligence on alternative investment managers. 

 

As a recipient of the Batten Scholarship, Clayton attended Old Dominion University and earned dual major Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics.  Clayton holds the Series 3, 7 and 63 Licenses.
